Bodywork - Body based treatment that aims to treat an individual person as a whole, facilitating the alignment of body, mind, spirit. It understands the connections between structural and physical, mental and emotional stresses. Through bodywork technique, we engage the body-mind’s self healing wisdom to restore balance and health.


Types of Bodywork:


Myofascial Release (MFR) - Our fascial tissue supports and shields our muscles from harm. If injured, it may cause pain in other areas of the body. Myofascial release uses stable pressure to release the tension and pain held there.


Cupping - If you’re experiencing pain or tightness in your muscles, cupping can activate the flow of your qi, or life force, to re-balance and soothe your body. This is due to the suction effects that restore blood flow.

 

Massage - Massage is the practice of releasing muscle tension in the body by rubbing and kneading using the hands. During massages, your therapist will apply gentle or strong pressure to the muscles and joints of the body to ease pain and tension. Aromatherapy & sound can also be used to increase relaxation.
